Introducing NaviGo: Myanmar's First AI Career Navigation Bot

For millions of young people in Myanmar, finding the right career path feels like navigating a maze in the dark. Information is scattered across Facebook groups, Telegram channels, and word-of-mouth. The Problem We Set Out to Solve

We identified four core pain points:

How It Works Under the Hood

NaviGo is built on a modern stack designed for reliability and speed. The bot runs on grammy (a Telegram bot framework) with a Next.js backend powered by Payload CMS. All our resource data — job sources, training centers, and learning materials — is managed through an admin panel where our team verifies every entry before it goes live.

The AI coach uses a large language model fine-tuned for career guidance conversations. It remembers your profile across sessions, so it can give increasingly relevant advice over time. When you tell the bot about your interests, it uses vector search to match you with the most relevant skills and resources in our database.

What's Next

We're just getting started. In the coming weeks, we plan to expand our resource database, add more skill categories, and introduce community features where users can share their learning journeys.
